I Get Know Every
House, Down To
The Very Last Detail.

By working in remodeling business for years, I gained a wealth of information and understanding about how homes are built, their underlying structure, and more importantly the not so obvious, minute issues that can become major issues if not detected in a timely manner. From a small sink leak to missing caulk, peeling exterior paint to a bad repair job, these items and many more can end up costing an investor or home buyer thousands.

All of these problems take time to develop; this is why a home inspection is so important to the home buyer. Most major home repairs are not immediately evident, but it is of the utmost importance to catch them while they are still minor maintenance issues. I am committed to providing every client with the information they need to make an informed decision on their purchase including same day detailed reports with photos and free lifetime consultations regarding your report or home maintenance.

Why Hire A Home Inspector?

Objectivity

Although home inspectors can appreciate the aesthetics of a beautiful home, or see the potential for a solid investment, that is not their purpose. Because they are not tied to the home in any way, the client can rest assured that a licensed  inspector is examining the home through a professional yet impartial view. Lack of emotional or financial attachments allows an inspector to focus on the systems and components they are trained to observe and report on.

Education

A home inspection report does not only assist in uncovering potential hidden damage or safety concerns, it aids in educating the client regarding home maintenance and common concerns. Systems in the report such as exterior drainage including gutter maintenance can help the client understand how important it is that these components function correctly and how they can do regular checkups to avoid very costly repairs later on.

Economic Protection

Licensed home inspectors are bound by state laws and licensing agencies on what is contained within the report. A client has the opportunity to get opinions from agents, friends, and contractors, however, a licensed inspector is required to observe a predetermined set of criteria and remark upon visual observations. No home is perfect, but major repairs almost always start out as small problems, and can cost a homeowner thousands in repairs. A licensed home inspector is trained to look for these circumstances to protect your investment. With most inspections costing between $300-$500, the peace of mind and assurance that comes with an inspection is more than worth the cost.

Price Negotiation & Future Expenses

Home inspectors can also be thought of as contingencies for buyer & sellers alike. An agent will be able to use the report to negotiate repairs or purchase price. Future expenses such as information on potential life expectancy of the HVAC system or overall roof covering conditions will help the buyer to be prepared for those costs.
